STRONG WOMEN, STRONG GIRLS:Â DUQUESNE CHAPTER
Olivia served as a student mentor as part of the Strong Women, Strong Girls Duquesne chapter from September 2016 to May 2020. Along with a team of college mentors, Olivia visited a local Pittsburgh public school once per week to meet with elementary school-aged girls. During these sessions, the college mentors and the girls worked together to participate in activities that raise their self esteem, encourage them to pursue leadership positions, and build positive relationships. Strong Women Strong Girls is a females-only organization, and supports the growth and confidence of young girls in the Pittsburgh area.
